Painted Monasteries Day Trip
Romania has many beautiful places to visit but the Painted Monasteries of Bucovina.are not only beautifull but unique in the world, part of the UNESCO's World Heritage Monuments list Their painted exterior walls are decorated with elaborated 15th and 16th century frescoes that feature portraits of prophets and saints, images of angels and demons, heaven and hell and also scenes from Jesus's life.
Wether you are interested on art, history, religion or arhitecture, we are sure you'll be intrigued by the decor and construction - interior and exterior of these edificies.
