Day trip to Sighisoara

We invite you to take a day trip with us to Sighisoara , the birthplace of our master. It stands as one of the most beautiful and best-preserved medieval towns in Europe. One of the few that are still inhabited!

Designated as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, this perfectly intact 16th century gem with nine towers, cobbled streets, burgher houses and ornate churches, rivals the historical streets of Old Prague or Vienna for its magic atmosphere.

OPTIONAL STOPS {along the route}

■ Viscri, a traditional saxon village, Prince Charles's favourite place in Romania and Viscri Fortifed Church an UNESCO World Heritage site. You will feel the peace, connection to nature and medieval atmophere by walking just a few steps .. and surely you will be charmed meeting the locals. At your request we can schedule a traditional cooked lunch stop at one of the families living there, They are always happy to greet their visitors!

■ Rupea Fortress is one of the oldest and most beautiful fortresses in Romania. Built in 3 rings on top of basalt rock deposits and guarded by thick strong walls is located in a geological reservation and represents one of the oldest archaeological site in the Carpathian Mountains. Discover the legend of Decebal, the last king of the dacians and many more mysteries by adding this stop to your day trip.

■ Racos Vulcano is not active anymore but left behind an unusual reddish landscape that makes its visitors feel like on planet Mars.Is one of Romania's less famous sites so going there feels like you've discovered a true gem. No worries, the last eruption took place more than 10.000 years ago!
